Directing

Clove has been a stage director since changing their Theatre Education major to a double major in Theatre Studies and Theatre K-12 Education with a Directing concentration their Sophomore year of undergrad, Fall 2019. However, Clove has been directing since they could walk, most notably beginning to direct in their High School Theatre Department and creating multiple short films with friends. Clove is a passionate Director aiming to shrink the bounds of typical proscenium theatre. Clove enjoys productions that break these norms and they create shows with more involved interaction from the audience. Clove specifically enjoys directing horror, dark comedies, plays that bring awareness to important topics, and abstract or absurd art.
